Development of Industries and Factories at Gwadar
The recent developments in Gwadar has made it one the most popular cities for industries and business. Incentives provided by the government are encouraging investors to invest in the city. The CPEC initiative is bringing about large scale development and changing the economic dynamics of Pakistan. Many projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are for the development of Pakistan that will eventually benefit various manufacturing industries of the country.
GWADAR FREE ZONE
The Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) Chairman Dostain Khan has said that, the construction of the 10 square-km Gwadar Free Zone was underway, and that China had provided an amount of $2 billion for it. Once it is developed, there are expected to be more than 200 factories developed there and will provide more than 40,000 jobs altogether.
CHINESE STEEL FACTORY
The Chinese Ambassador has been reported to have said that, Pakistan and China plan to build a steel mill which will be 3 times the size of the free economic zones, known as the Bao Steel Park.
To facilitate and provide an uninterrupted supply of electricity, an LNG power plant is being established that will be used to meet the energy demands of the various industries and manufacturing factories that are being set up.
SHIP REPAIRING AND MAINTENANCE
Once the port of Gwadar is fully operational it will no doubt be a global trading hub. That would mean that various, large vessels and ships will go through these routes, and Gwadar would be a visiting spot. This would give Gwadar a great opportunity, to facilitate in maintaining and repairing all the ships and vessels that will stop at Gwadar for trading or just re-fueling purposes.

· Desalination plants
· Fishing and Marine industries
· Tourism
· Chemical and fertilizing industries
· Trading goods manufacturing
All of these industries are proving to be very advantageous for Gwadar, attractive incentives by the Government such as tax amnesty has increased the interest of the local and global population. This is leading to more and more investment in Gwadar property and thus increasing the value of Gwadar property prices.
